The Book Show in Montreal was a first for l'Ile aux Dix Roues in 2004.
This was a great success, thanks to the many activities organized around the stand (demonstrations of games and modelling workshops) , alongside the live acts we put on in public at the Carrefour SAQ and Agora.
This event marked a turning point for l'Ile aux Dix Roues . We had 250 children come by in the space of 2 days for sculpture workshops and 50-75 children at each of the live spectacles.
Sales also exceeded expectation, and in the weeks following the Salon, several independent bookshops ordered samples of the product.
Besides this, we had visits from a number of schools and a good number of children joined Diroo's Friends Club.
